Project Description

The Villas at Winecoff has a European Country theme through out the community and is the first community in North Carolina in which all of the homes will be built to LEED for Homes standards.

HBC took inspiration for the entry monumentation design directly from the architecture for the villas designed for Winecoff. With two of our own employees being LEED Accredited Professionals, we were more than prepared to embrace the green theme of the community when asked to join the team at Minter Properties, LLC. We applied our knowledge to the site by using sustainable plant material, including native and drought tolerant plants. HBC will also have the opportunity to continue our Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design throughout the community as we design the residential landscaping for all 96 lots. By specifying the use of on-site recycled mulch and soil, we aim to help Minter Properties minimize the footprint of this community on our planet.
