Heather Maud McNaughton Burkert
RLA, LEED - AP, Principal, President

Heather Burkert is a Landscape Architect registered in both North Carolina (RLA #870) and South Carolina (RLA #1025). She received a Bachelor of Horticulture Science from Michigan State University and has been practicing in the field of

landscape architecture and horticulture since 1973.

Her vision is to create stimulating public and private spaces that enhance our quality of life and the environment. Her passion includes promoting educational and interpretive designs that compliment both, the site and the client's needs with beauty and practicality for the present and the future.

She was appointed in 2003 by Governor Mike Easley to serve on the North Carolina Board of Landscape Architects. Prior areas of service include the Brunswick Community College Horticulture Advisory Board, the Audubon International Sanctuary Resource Committee of Brunswick Community College, and the New Hanover County Arboretum Board.
